This privacy policy explains how the Dev Idle mobile app (package name com.wolven531.devidle) handles your information. Dev Idle is published on Google Play under the developer name Wolven531 Studios LLC, which is also the legal entity that develops the app and is responsible for it. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean Wolven531 Studios LLC.

Information we collect

Dev Idle does not collect any personal or sensitive information. The app has no accounts or sign-in, shows no ads, and uses no analytics or tracking tools. The app does not send information about you to us or to anyone else, and we do not keep any of your information on any server.

Information stored on your device

To work as expected, the app saves the following on your device:

  • Your game progress (your Bits balance, the upgrades and automations you have purchased, and your next milestone), so you can pick up where you left off
  • Your audio (music and sound effect volume), haptics (vibration), and resource gain display settings

We never receive this information. Android backup is usually turned on by default, so your device may include this information in your Google account backup. Other than that backup, it stays on your device. Google handles anything in that backup under the Google Privacy Policy, not this policy.

How we use and share information

Because we do not collect any information, we do not use, share, sell, or rent your information, and we do not share any information with third parties.

Google Play and the Android operating system may collect some information independently of the app, for example when you install or update it. Google handles that information under the Google Privacy Policy, not this policy.

Links to other websites and apps

The app includes links to websites and apps such as GitHub, LinkedIn, and Google Play. Tapping a link opens it in a browser or in another app on your device, such as Google Play. The app does not send information about you to these services, but the services you open may collect information under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

Security

The information the app saves is protected by the security features built into your device, such as your screen lock. The app does not send it anywhere, and the only way it can leave your device is the Android backup described above.

Data retention and deletion

The information the app saves remains on your device until you clear the app's data in your device settings or uninstall the app. If your device has included it in a Google account backup, that backup copy can outlast both, and you control it through your Android or Google account backup settings. We do not have a copy of this information, so there is nothing for us to delete on request.

Dev Idle has a Google Play content rating of ESRB Everyone, and we are committed to following the Google Play Families Policy.
